Move Authentically Physiotherapy Joins MS Rehabilitation ECHO Program

We’re proud to share that our team is participating in the MS Rehabilitation ECHO® program, a national education initiative designed to help non-specialist occupational therapists and physiotherapists provide evidence-based care to people living with multiple sclerosis (MS).

Led by Dr. Marcia Finlayson at Queen’s University and funded through MS Canada with generous support from the Frederick and Isabella Troop Family Foundation, this program addresses a real gap in care: many people with MS have limited access to therapists who have specialized MS training. ECHO®, which stands for Extension for Community Health Outcomes, closes that gap through videoconferencing, mentorship, and direct connection with MS specialists and researchers.

By taking part, our therapists are building deeper expertise in MS-specific rehabilitation, so we can offer our clients living with MS more informed, confident, and effective care, right here in Kingston.
