Women standing in tree pose on yoga matWe’re excited to have Krista Gansterer lead us through an energizing Kinstretch class.

What is Kinstretch?

Kinstretch is a science-backed movement system designed to improve mobility, strength, control, and usable range of motion.

Mobility is the strength component of movement—it’s about teaching your nervous system to control a range of motion actively. Flexibility is the passive component—your tissues’ ability to stretch. Both are essential for building a body that moves well, feels good, and stays injury-resistant.

In class, you’ll also complete self-assessments to help you recognize and track any potential movement limitations.

Kinstretch is used by people from all walks of life—athletes, injury rehab clients, seniors, and everyday movers—to strengthen joints, connective tissues, and overall body control.

Benefits of Kinstretch:

  • Greater movement capacity

  • Increased range of motion

  • Injury prevention and rehab support

  • Enhanced physical performance

  • Ongoing strength gains

  • Heightened body awareness and control

  • Improved neurological function

Classes use your bodyweight, along with tools like bands, blocks, and lacrosse balls, to deepen stretches, improve feedback, and maximize results.

About Krista Gansterer

Krista’s lifelong curiosity and passion for movement have shaped her career and her approach to helping others move better. After graduating from St. Lawrence College’s Fitness and Health Promotion program in 2009, she built a career as a personal trainer, Pilates instructor, and group fitness leader.

Her interest in the therapeutic side of movement led her to become a Registered Massage Therapist. She has pursued extensive continuing education in Functional Range Conditioning, Functional Range Release, and Fascial Stretch Therapy, carving out a niche in mobility and movement optimization. Krista currently works at Frontenac Chiropractic and Sports Rehab and teaches Kinstretch at Rival Training Kingston.
